Bexley City School District is Hiring an Intervention Specialist (with SLD or BH certification preferred) (Extended School Year Only: Summer 2024) Near Columbus, OH
Intervention Specialist Extended School Year (ESY) Summer 2024 ONLY
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must hold Ohio teaching license for Intervention Specialist (K-12) License, with Specific Learning Disabilities and/or Behavioral Handicapped certification preferred
- Certified in Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI)
- Experience preferred
- Instruct students with individualized education programs (IEPs) on their goals and objectives determined for ESY by their IEP team
- Responsible for planning, instruction, data collection and communication with families
- Securing the safety of students and reporting their progress
This position is for the 2024 extended school year only. Must commit to at least one full week of the dates below:
June 5: orientation 9am to 11am
June 11, 12, 13*
June 25, 26, 27*
July 16, 17, 18*
July 23, 24, 25*
Rate of pay $50.00 per hour
